"Doll-Dagga Buzz-Buzz Ziggety-Zag" as written by and Brian/lowery Warner....
Doll-dagga buzz-buzz ziggety-zag
Godmod grotesque burlesque drag
All the goose-step girlies with
Their cursive faces and
We know it's all Braille beneath the skirt
I'm bulletproof bizzop and
Swing heil and
I don't really care what gentlemen prefer.
Say, all you pin-down girls and
Bonafide ballers, so manically depressed
And manically dressed
We got our "Venus Not In Furs"
But "In Uniforms."
If You're not dancing, then you're dead.

Doll-dagga buzz-buzz ziggety-zag
Godmod grotesque burlesque drag
Doll-dagga buzz-buzz ziggety-zag
Godmod grotesque burlesque drag
All the thug rock kids are playin'
All the punk god angels sayin'
"The toys are us, and we don't even know"
All the thug rock kids are playin'
All the punk god angels sayin'
"The toys are us, and we don't even know"
Go go go--doppelgangers
(You're one of us, you're on of us)
Go go go--throw your shapes doppelgangers
You're one of us.

Trumpet-mouth junky-saints go
Silver-tongue marching down the
Stairway to SUBSTANCE
Cocaingels and asses
Give me opiate masses
Fill up your church porn preachers
And we'll fill up our glasses.

Doll-dagga buzz-buzz ziggety-zag

Go, go, go, go, go, go go, go
All the thug rock kids, go
All the punk god angels, go
You're on of us now, you're one of us
So go go go

General Commentthere are heaps of references to a non-violent german resistance group to the nazi movement called the swing jugend on this album. they greeted each other by saying 'swing heil'... thats where thats from, not a reference to S&M. Theres other references in other songs. I'm studying the swing jugend at the moment so it was pretty cool to find that.

General CommentGod, definately my favourite song. Anyone else noticed that it seems like a 40s rock n roll song? I dunno, I do dance and the the idea occured to me that the rythm is like one of those songs, call me crazy but hey! I love this song

General CommentSorry to all u ppl out there who's meanings r sooooooooooo wrong, but i did find the subliminal meaning on some perimitive site. It's just about, well, sex, drugs and rock & roll as the sayin does. Dagga is a plant that can be smoked, and Buzz-Buz is a hippie term meaning to get buzz from a substance, or getting high. And as for the Ziggety=Zag, Zig Zag were "rolling papers" that featured a bearded smoker on the label. Most of the earliy stuff is just about rock, and "bizzop" is a sexual slang term.

General CommentWow. Marilyn Manson is well read, eh?

All the goose-step girlies - A reference to nazism, goosestepping was the nazi march. Goose-steppers are the nazi-military boots.

Swing and heil, I don't really care what gentlemen prefer. - I'm begining to sense a song most likely about the masochism/sadomasochism scene.

    "Bonafide ballers, so manically depressed
And manically dressed" - Now this isn't exactly about what I've been thinking about. But manic-depression is a psychological disorder now known as 'bipolar disorder'.

We got our "Venus Not In Furs"
But "In Uniforms." - And we have a song about masochism and sadomasochism. Venus in Furs was a book written by Leopold Von Sacher-Masoch. It was about a man named Severin who was in love with a brutal woman who wore ermine furs and took sexual pleasure from enslaving, beating, and humuliating men. And he took sexual pleasure from the pain she dealt him. And this talks about a Venus in uniforms, which is another big part in the masochism fetish. Many masochists enjoy nazi-esque fetishism when being 'tortured'.

It goes on to talk mostly about doppelgangers, etc. A doppelganger is German for 'double', specifically, a 'copy' of a person. Hitler was rumored to have a doppelganger. At this point he may be pointing out how so many people tend to copy one another rather than find who they are individually.
