"Tonight" as written by Michael Mushok, Aarron Lewis, Jonathan Wysocki and John April....
Just try to understand
This isn't what I planned
This ride's out of my hands
So now I'm forced to be
Something I can not be
If only I could make you see

Tonight I'm alive
I've watched you all grow up and so have I
Inside this isn't really what I had in mind

I no longer relate
To this world of hate
That's forced upon my plate
I tend to disagree
I hope its not just me
Alone if only I could make you see

Tonight I'm alive
I've watched you all grow up and so have I
Inside this isn't really what I had in mind

Tonight I'm alive
I've watched you all grow up and so have I
Inside this isn't really what I had in mind

Tonight I'm alive
I've watched you all grow up and so have I
Inside this isn't really what I had in mind

I had in mind

General Comment*looking and referring above* This rides out of my nads? LMAO, haha :D

This is a short outlook on how he's grown up and matured since the previous albums, with Tormented being him at rock-bottom. He's exclaiming how he's no longer a part of society, or it's problems, but how he's "Alive" with others' who feel the same way he does, and refuses to be pulled back down again with the things he was fed earlier in his life.

General CommentLOL I so can't imagine hearing Aaron sing something like "This rides out of my nads."

This song is awesome, it gives you the feeling of out much we have all fought our way through life to realize the things we want. We all make our lives, we don't have to be a part of that thick blob of hopelessness and strict rules we call society.

We don't have to live eachday thinking that good people will be hurt and that the only way to make it is to bite other people. No, for life is a part of us and it takes pain to bring it out that's all. I will suffer just as long as my dreams can come true, and like the rubbing of a genie lamp, why not go through all the pain in search of it, even if you only get one wish? It is a wish I am sure to make it count.

General CommentFor some reason I can imagine this song at a high school graduation, asking all the people you have burned bridges with over the years to forgive you....and sort of trying to make them see that you really do care about them, even though you may have hurt them. It's just an image, but I guess that's kind of the meaning for me, asking for forgiveness
