Come, come, come, coming at you
Come, coming at you
Come, coming at you, yo

Peep the style and the kids checking for it
The number one question is how could you ignore it
We drop right back in the cut over basement tracks
With raps that got you backing this up like (rewind that)
We're just rolling with the rhythm
Rise from the ashes of stylistic division
With these non-stop lyrics of life living
Not to be forgotten but still unforgiven
But in the meantime there are those who want to
Talk this and that, so I suppose that
It gets to a point where feelings gotta get hurt
And get dirty with the people spreading the dirt, it goes

Try to give you warning but everyone ignores me
(Told you everything loud and clear)
But nobody's listening, call to you so clearly
But you don't want to hear me
(Told you everything loud and clear)
But nobody's listening

I got a heart full of pain, head full of stress
Handful of anger, held in my chest
And everything's left is a waste of time
I hate my rhymes (but hate everyone else's more)
I'm riding on the back of this pressure
Guessing that it's better I can't keep myself together
Because all of this stress gave me something to write on
The pain gave me something I could set my sights on
You never forget the blood, sweat, and tears
The uphill struggle over years
The fear and trash talking
And the people it was to
And the people that started it
Just like you

Try to give you warning but everyone ignores me
(Told you everything loud and clear)
But nobody's listening, call to you so clearly
But you don't want to hear me
(Told you everything loud and clear)
But nobody's listening

I got a heart full of pain, head full of stress
Handful of anger, held in my chest
Uphill struggle, blood, sweat, and tears
Nothing to gain, everything to fear

A heart full of pain, head full of stress
Handful of anger, held in my chest
Uphill struggle, blood, sweat, and tears
Nothing to gain, everything to fear

A heart full of pain, a heart full of pain
Try to give you warning but everyone ignores me
(Told you everything loud and clear)
But nobody's listening
Call to you so clearly but you don't want to hear me
(Told you everything loud and clear)
But nobody's listening

I got a heart full of pain, head full of stress
Nobody's listening
Handful of anger, held in my chest
Nobody's listening
Uphill struggle, blood, sweat, and tears
Nobody's listening
Nothing to gain, everything to fear
Nobody's listening

Come, come, come, coming at you
Come, come, come, coming at you
Come, come, come, coming at you
Come, come, come, coming at you from every side

This song is very easily interperted(in my opinion)

It's talking about the fact that no matter what we say or do, the basic reaction is for humans to go back to what we were doing. History has repeated itself so many times now. We always end up wanting to do what hurts us the most

    lol.

i won't even waste my breath telling off people who hate on linkin park. i'm not angry because anyone dislikes this band. it's just the fact that they'd take the time to post a comment about how much they hate them that makes me so amused. they've already embarassed themselves.

    LP 4 ever ♥♥

Since Linkin Park started out in Arizona I've been around and Vannaroth you're a faget who probably sits around listening to Elton John instead of something with actual meanings that everyone can relate to maybe not jus people who's mommy and daddy wont let them go to a party...i never had a mom or a dad to make thos rules for me but love this band anyway...you're a bitch who doesn't deserve to listen to music

I'm not sure which is funnier. The Linkin Park haters who can't seem to mind there own business so they come to Linkin Park boards to bash Linkin Park fans or the fans who murder the English Language and doing little more than proving the haters right.

I am 16 years old. I own both Hybrid Theory and Meteora. I also own Breaking Benjamin's We Are Not Alone and Saturate, Crossfade's first album, Korn's Take A Look in the Mirror, Life Is Peachy (not my fav.) and Issues. I also own Led Zeppelin's First album, fourth album, and Houses of the Holy. I own Pink Floyd's The Wall, Final Cut, and Greatest Hits. I love Slayer, Metallica, Testament, Exodus, and Anthrax. I even like Death Metal. Not all Linkin Park fans are depressed 12 year olds who hate their parents.

I suggest to the LP haters to post under bands that they like and leave people who do like them alone. As for LP fans, act like you have a slight bit of intelligence and maybe you won't get bashed as much.

As for the meaning I agree with Willow.

This song says that you can hate them all you want, but their gonna keep on making music. This is the only time where I can appreciate the japanese flute action going on. Haters stay away, because Linkin Park isn't going anywhere!

I think this song is about someone getting ready to get rid of all the hypocrites and liars that plague his life. He knows nobody will listen, but he warns them anyway to see if anyone will listen. Of course, no one does, and he says that he has been "riding on the back of this pressure" for far too long and he decides to put an end to the lies now.

I have to agree with over half the people here... If you don't like the band... Why are you here?

And, sad to say, this is most likly, the only song in the world I could listen to non-stop for several hours.... ^^ Ehehe.....

And BTW.... Vannaroth-sama, I have a feeling that YOU are only 11 and that, you probibly do like this song but think that you want to be different than everyone else by bombing a good song just to make your-self feel better about whatever is bothering you..... Do you have a bad family life or somthing?

Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
