Will you join me in this dance, this dance of misery
Cradled in imposs... impossibility?
Swooning, I am swept away
Swept off my feet, with step by step by step
We take the lead as drop by drop, we start... to bleed

(Oh, we dance in misery)
And we dance on, and we dance on
(Oh, we dance in misery)
All lost in the arms of our misery, oh
(Oh, we dance in misery)
And we dance on, and we dance on
Swept off our feet by our misery, we're swept into the shadows

Will you lend yourself to beauty that will horrify?
Let me hide within your black, the still inside your eyes
Deafened, caught within a cry
So sensual, as step by step by step, I seperate
As breath to breath, as I... suffocate

(Oh, we dance in misery)
And we dance on, and we dance on
(Oh, we dance in misery)
All lost in the arms of our misery, oh
(Oh, we dance in misery)
And we dance on, and we dance on
Swept off our feet by our misery, we're swept into the shadows

So who will follow? Who is the lead?
I know I'll leave a stain, because I bleed
As we dance, we all dance
We all... have no chance in this horrid romance

(Oh, we dance in misery)
And we dance on, and we dance on
(Oh, we dance in misery)
All lost in the arms of our misery, oh
(Oh, we dance in misery)
And we dance on, and we dance on
Swept off our feet by our misery, we're swept into the shadows
Swept off our feet by our misery, we're swept into the shadows

General CommentOk. This song is about moshpits. Get it? Real, ahem, deep and stuff. The word mosh is an acronym for March Of the Skin Heads.

General CommentThis song does not have a deep meaning. It is a light break from all the dark emotionalism in the album, while keeping the same theme... and parallels the movie "The Nightmare Before Christmas."

General CommentThis Song is So Deep. Davey Havok is the deepest most inspirational lyricist on the face of the earth. The solo in this song is, in my opinion, Jade's best. This song is deffinently the best song on Sing the Sorrow. Way to Go Guys!

General Commentactually it's like Jade's ONLY solo in AFI (except when they played stuff from the first 2 albums) and unfortunately it doesn't fit well in the song

General CommentErmmmm, Thrice Element, Jade wasn't on the first two albums. It wasn't until Black Sails did he join the band. Either way, I think Jade's solo fits greatly in the song, let alone my mentioning that Jade happens to be a damn good guitar soloist and should do it more often. But anyway, Jade never recorded on the first two albums, he was in Redemption 87 at that time.

General CommentLets all worship Lord Havok because his lyrics are my Bible and should be treated most respectfully. Go to the Church of Havok and become a true Fall Child. the-church-of-havok.tk

General CommentThrice_Element is a retard! LoL, What an Ignorant moron
Surely he has heard of a song called 6 to 8, in which Jade ends the song with a solo! Don't regard his comments, he doesn't play guitar, and has no musical taste what so ever.
The solo fits perfectly with this song. This song has "Guns N Roses" written all over it, just sped up and with deeper meanings. Amazing Song.
