Staring at the sun
no rays down on me
I call you in my arms
embrace is unreal

You're moving on
we'll never be apart
just drain my tears
I cry aloud

You're moving on
you'll never be a part
of all my tears
I cry aloud

Calling on your sins
you're here in my dreams
a desert place
I'm not alone

Do you really
want to be me?

You're moving on
we'll never be apart
just drain my tears
I cry aloud

You're moving on
you'll never be a part
of all my tears
I cry aloud

General CommentIt is always hard having somone you love so much getting torn away from you. Not being able to feel there touch or embrace ever again, never being able to hear there voice... It makes life miserable on all of us... It causes us to cry, and to never let the memory of that person go no matter how painful it may be.

General CommentOne of the most moving songs off "comalies", all its about to me is this girl has just broke up wiv someone, nd now he's moving on nd she believes he's forgotten all about her and moved on, while shes still stuck in the same place, she won't let herself get ova it, nd shes pining ova her lost love.....it's one of my fave songs by lacuna coil for sure.....a lovely song!

General CommentJust the title itself is amazing, it paints a picture of a strong masculine figure, and a woman who he will never see. The rays seem to be attention fom this hunter and there are none shining on the ghost, she feels as if he doesn't even care about her.
The chorus seems to me to be a fantasy/reality thing. In the first part she is saying that they're together and they'll never ba apart, and he will protect her from all her fears, but the reality sinks in and she realises she is alone and he will never be there to stop her from crying. She then goes on to say she dreams of him, one place where she is not alone. That is what i thought of the song, but after reading all of your guy's comments it does seem as if it is after a relationship, but I stick to my interpretation. This song is so beautiful. *tear*

General Commenti think this song is about a girl that just got dumped and all the misery she has to deal with. she sort of can't believe that it's actually over at first, but as the song progresses she realizes that he's moved on and probably forgotten about her

General CommentDespite the creative title, this song is amazing and Crisina's voice in this song is wonderful and she shows that she has the ability to sing a sad ballad.

General CommentI think Spyke got it right. But here's another perspective, even if it's a stretch:

First of all, who says the hunter is masculine? It could be a woman, maybe a lesbian. Also, it isn't unheard of for a woman to sing a man's part. This is actually from the hunter's perspective. He or she is trying to embrace a woman who is either dead, or is not real to begin with. She is 'moving on', either to the afterlife, or to another stage of existence.
