"Firestarter" as written by Keith Flint, Liam Paul Paris Howlett, Kim Deal, Anne Jennifer Dudley, Johnathon Edward Stephen Jeczalik, Gary Michael Langan, Trevor Charles Horn and Paul Robert Morley....
i'm the trouble starter
pumpkin instigator
I'm the fear addicted
danger illustrated

I'm a twisted
you're a twisted
I'm a twisted
firestarter

I'm the bitch you hated
filth infatuated
I'm the pain you tasted
well intoxicated

I'm a twisted
you're a twisted
I'm a twisted
firestarter

i'm the self inflicted
my detinator
i'm the one inflicted
twisted and animated

I'm a twisted
you're a twisted
I'm a twisted
firestarter

I'm the I'm a twisted
you're a twisted
I'm a twisted
firestarter

I'm a twisted
you're a twisted
I'm a twisted
firestarter

General CommentThis Prodigy cover was released on NME's 'Warchild: 1 Love' album. It's a lot different to the original, but it's still very good. It really suits JEW's style.

General Commentthis cover is amazing. It takes the song to such a different level. Jims voice brings whole new meaning to this song. An excellent cover. Hope to see more of the same.

General CommentI paid 16 quid, waited 14 days on 1 cd, just to have this one song. Jimmy eatworld are my favourite ever band, and Jim akin is ( well, one of ) the greatest song writter of this current time and I can never get tired of 1 of there songs. Firestarter was my favourite song back in the day, and when i heard bout the warchild album, got it stright away. Bit of advice though... the rest the albums complete and utter bollocks.

General Commentahem? has every1 lost their mind? these lyrics were written for a Prodigy song (an amazing song i have to say), which i bet any of u didnt really listen to the yics for. Who would anyway that song is amazing for it's great drum beats and looping samples that never get tiring. But now its been covered by jimmy eat world you lot seem to think it's something else. 'Jims voice brings whole new meaning to this song'? Bet you didnt say that about the orignal.
Don't get me wrong JEW are a good band but they should stick to their bleed americans and the middes and sweetness n authority songs, not things like the 5 minute acoustic 'my sundown'

    General Commentare you on pills?

yes the prodigy are immense and the drum loops some of the sickest ive ever heard. however, jew have clearly covered the song in an attempt to interpret it in a different way and if it sounds as good as this theyre perfectly free in my opinion to try and bring new meaning to other artists' material.

and my sundown is my personal favourite off what i consider their weakest album. i like their more poignant songs but to be fair its all pretty good.
