It's there where I had left you
It's then when you should know the reasons why
A phrase that held the miles from decision
You never called to stop it from goodbye
*After my car was packed
and these maps were spread like paint out on the dashboard
You never thought to call me
** I'm driving the world tonight
with your face on my mind
all exempt from feeling anything at all
V2
It's there where I had known you
Now I live to breathe and think that you're O.K
A world that held the light to your decision
From giving up and wanting me to stay
*After the sun came up
and let california take it's breath for nothing
You never thought to call me, to tell me not to leave
** I picture your face tonight,
with your hair, in your eyes
all exempt from thinking anything at all
***And these months went by like years
when I didn't see you
I faked a smile bearing gifts of little hope
This christmas will be my last time home
****I still think of you, everytime it snows
*****Let the sun shine
While your hair dries
In my jersey california life
That I live so well inside
From the Valley
Where my heart beats
Is the nights we grew to feel alive
I'm enulling our goodbyes...

General Commenti can't believe no one has commented this yet. i know people say that a lot, but this is ridiculous. for rocking chair year fans who don't know about their other stuff, PLEASE get the No Lights On Weldon album. This is my favorite song off it. Chris at his most emotional, and the acoustic guitars are amazing.

Some of the best lyrics I've heard from them. Very self explanatory
