"I Go Humble" as written by and Bell,mark/bjork....
I go humble
You're so curiously pure
Only before you I'm humble

I go humble
You amaze me
Only before you I go humble

I should be arrested
For my emotional stance
Only before you I go humble

I'm queen of provocation
I wake people up
Only before you I go humble

I go humble
I adore you
Only before you I go humble

I should be arrested
For my emotional stance
Only before you I go humble

General Commentthe music to this song is originally from LFO, "Shove Piggy Shove". Bjork has been a longtime fan of LFO, and wrote the lyrics to "I Go Humble" after hearing the song. She also worked with Mark Bell (the man behind LFO) on Homogenic, Vespertine, and Medulla.

General CommentMolofan, when is this song from? It sounds like the Debut era to me, but you appear to be the I Go Humble here.

Bjork fans seriosuly need to be aware of this song. It's gorgeously flirty and fun!

General CommentIt's the cap to an album that, in sequence, tells of her maturation of self through considering another person besides herself (in a relationship). Maybe it's about her and her baby, but there seems to be more of a sexual disposition to all the songs' lyrics.

So this song is her coming to terms with how wonderful a person her partner is for putting up with her capriciousness.

General Comment@molofon: Mark Bell was one of the main programmers for "Debut", as well.

General CommentWell, not if Wikipedia is right...

I could have sworn I read his name in the printed album liner notes back before Vespertine came out...
