Oceans crash the sands. Another time.
Take a backwards glance
But where must we, where must we stand?
The stavesail meant to last. But were we here? Were we here?
My life is not my own. It was bought for me.

Oceans crash the sands. Another time.
Take a backwards glance
But where must we, where must we stand?
The stavesail meant to last. But were we here? Were we here?

General CommentIt amazes me that no one posts about this song, because it is one of two that really stands out on the album. This is a good song for many people who reflect upon past events in their life, trying to find meaning in where they are and what they stand for.

General Comment"My life is not my own. It was bought for me."

I love that lyric and I can totally relate to it. It's coming to the realization that we don't "own" ourselves, or our life, God does. Our lives were bought for us -- through the blood of Jesus Christ. Surrenduring to that thought - that beautiful realization - that truth, brings about a peace that no one can possibly understand, until they experience it for themselves.
