It took an evil so inhumane
To make us see what we became
Some how it will never be the same
A land divided united again

We’ve got our freedom
We’ve got our pride
We have no fear
We will not hide
It took injustice
To make us rise
Come with me and fight for your rights

I heard someone say God Bless America
I’m proud to be
I heard someone say God Bless America
The Land of the free

We should say our prayers everyday
For the loved ones we will never see again
Remember them for they gave their lives
They are true heroes in this life

We’ve got our freedom
We’ve got our pride
We have no fear
We will not hide
It took injustice
To make us rise
Come with me and fight for your rights

I heard someone say God Bless America
I’m proud to be
I heard someone say God Bless America
The Land of the free
I heard someone say God Bless America
I’m proud to be
I heard someone say God Bless America
The Land of the free

General CommentThis song is pathetic. The worst kind of ignorance. It conveniently excludes very important context in relation to 9-11, the reasons behind it, the full perspective of the American response, and many more important historical and political realities.
