"Don't Let It Get You Down" as written by Jerry Marcellino, Mel Larson and Deke Richards....
Oooh ohooh
Ooh

Oooh ooh
Oooh

Kate made it where most never been
Fixed up outside and broke within
She always said goodnight
Knowing the wrong from right

Well on the way the time
It showed her things she never find
And left her down in the dumps
Whoooa
All day and all night

Don't let it get you down
Don't let it get you down
Don't let it get you down
Don't let it get you down

Don't let it get you down

Don't let it get you down
Don't let it get you down
Don't let it get you down
Don't let it get you down

Oooh oh
Ooh ooh
Ooh ohh

Ooohohh
Ohhohhh
Ooohwooo

Kate grew up without makin a sound
Skipped ahead to settle down
Oh won't you come out tonight

Don't let it get you down

Don't let it get you down
Don't let it get you down
Don't let it get you down
Don't let it get you down

Oh yeah

Don't let it get you down
Don't let it get you down
Don't let it get you down
Don't let it get you down

Ohohohoohooooooooooowooooo

General Commentthis song is great. Its about how this girl Kate let her life get away without living it up. Thats what lots of Spoon's songs are about and they should be very popular but they arent. I hope they are soon! Their lyrics are all about the sound and theyre crazy

General CommentYes Spoon=beauty. I can see how this song wouldn't have many comments though, because the lyrics are relatively repetitive.
