I can't get past all that time
All those things you'd say
To make me think you're mine
All the stories
All the lies
All the times you made me cry

A broken heart left alone
I had no choice
No where to go

No one to listen
No one to care
No one to help me through
No one was there

I couldn't help myself
The thoughts always come to mind
Everytime I think of you
It's suicide

I trusted you
I believed in your love
The fights never mattered
I was thinking of

Now I can't help it
The thoughts always come to mind
Everytime I think of you
It's suicide

You left me there like nothing
I was alone
Everything has become hell
Since you've been gone

No one to listen
No one to care
No one to help me through
No one was there

But now I am stranded
The thoughts always come to mind
Everytime I think of you
It's suicide

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.
