"Dig My Grave" as written by John Linnell and John Flansburgh....
Dig my grave
Dig my grave

Every time I look in your eyes
I see St. Peter wave

Dig my grave
Dig my grave

Every time you call my name
I hear the angels say

"Dig my grave"
Dig my grave
Dig my grave
Dig my grave
Dig my grave

General Commenti adore the music to this song. the words aren't that impressive though. is it about a relationship? or... death or something...?

General CommentIt works even better if you think of it as an intro to "I Palindrome I" with the Mother and Son that song in a mutually homicidal relationship.

General Comment"Dig my grave" reminds me of the expression "kill me now". Seems to me the singer is just sick of someone, and whenever he has to deal with them now he just says... Dig my grave!

The song is great, so full of energy :D

General CommentMusically this song sounds like an homage to 1960s garage rock bands like the ones on the Back from the Grave compilation albums, which may explain the song's title and lyrics.
