"Bird Of Prey" as written by Norman Cook, Jim Morrison, Robert A. Krieger, John Paul Densmore and Raymond D. Manzarek....
Bird of Prey
Bird of Prey
Flying high
Flying high
In the summer sky

Bird of Prey
Bird of Prey
Flying high
Flying high
Gently pass on by

Bird of Prey
Bird of Prey
Flying high
Flying high
Am I going to die

Bird of Prey
Bird of Prey
Flying high
Flying high
Take me on your flight

General Commentfatboy didnt cover it as such, its jim morrisons voice from "an american prayer" sampled in ... but anyway, i like what fatboy did with it... still, not a bad piece of poetry from mr mojo risin, take the time to look around at the wonders of this earth before its all gone.... thats what i get from it.. im sure he meant it to be more of an escape like doorsfreak said...

General Commentmorrison yearning for pure metaphysical escapism inspired from a place of isloation, in a beautiful voice and well weighted tempo - what a song, what an album.

My InterpretationIt's about freedom. Although "am I going to die" does make it sound poetically morbid.
