"Son Song" as written by Massimiliano A. Cavalera and Sean Lennon....
Sometimes I don't want to face life
Sometimes I feel empty inside
But every moment is precious
And everyone will turn to dust

Dust myself up and I scream at the sky
It's been so hard but I can't let it die
Turn my head up, looking at the stars
So many years, I still wonder where you are?
Dust myself up and I scream at the sky
It's been so hard and I ask myself why?
Turn my head up, looking at the sun
Waited so long, it's time to move on, move on

Look at the sun, look at the sky
Another day, another sign
And every moment is precious
And everything will turn to dust

Dust myself up and I scream at the sky
It's been so hard but I can't let it die
Turn my head up, looking at the stars
So many years, I still wonder where you are?
Dust myself up and I scream at the sky
Every day I ask myself why?
So much pain pouring from inside
Above me I feel the spirit fly

General Commentchino8... if you read in the booklet of Primitive, there says that's dedicated to Graziano Cavalera and John Lennon...

anyway... it's a very deep song... i got chills when i listenened for a 1st time... Son Song is one of those songs that're very touching somehow.

General CommentThis is about how the world can essentially be turned upside down when a close friend or family member dies (in this case, a father - hence, Son Song). Both Max (Cavalera) and the other person singing (Sean Lennon) lost their fathers to bullets early on. (Graziano Cavalera and John Lennon respectively)

General CommentAdding onto Sound's comment, this is also one of their better songs on the album, I'd have to say. That's not to say, however, that all the songs on Primitive are great, this one just stands out more.
Though my father is still alive and somewhat well, I still feel this song will one day relate to me, somehow. But it's not just about that, I just feel the pain and message Sean and Max express in this song.
