I mastered the dance, but now you're gone, gone, gone
I mastered the dance, but now you're gone, gone, gone
I mastered the dance, but now you're gone, gone, gone
I mastered the dance, but now you're gone, gone, gone

All you need is drums to start a dance party
All you need is drums to start a dance party
And you're invited to our dance party
And you're invited to our dance party

All you need are kisses to start a make-out party
And you're invited to my make-out party

I mastered the dance, but now you're gone, gone, gone
I mastered the dance, but now you're gone, gone, gone
I mastered the dance, but now you're gone, gone, gone
I mastered the dance, but now you're gone, gone, gone

General Commentever since i bought this album my goal in life has been to invite someone to my very own makeout party...so far i have used the line on various friends and none are all too amused, more often than not they just look very uncomfortable...actually come to think of it that could be because most of them are my same sex friends...hmmm

General CommentLvdv.. so know what you mean about the whole having a make-out party response to the song. Except I've gotten pretty positive feedback to the idea, which may be due to the fact I was speaking to the opposite sex and they're probably a lot hornier than the average rocker. (giggles)
I mean, the writer's motivation for this song was, in fact, probably hornyness. It's also probably about a guy who tries to impress this chick, and when all else fails, blatantly invites her to this make-out party (ie: the ultimate in forwardness)
    Hell, I'd go to a make-out party. ;)
