Every one wants to know the meaning behind it all
I think I’ve found what makes me believe
That I have purpose, I have an answer to my call
That some one out there was made for me
I’ve felt this before for a girl I thought wasn’t missing
You should have known by the tone in my voice
But she wouldn’t listen
I stopped begging to keep this relationship a float
I wanted to know you were that special one
I wrote in your favorite book in a hearted note
But maybe you never read it and still are that girl
Who meant the meaning of this world
You skipped a chapter, or never got to finishing
While my hopes for meaning are rapidly diminishing
Well maybe next time will be it
The time you can stay and read it
The dusty book will fall from the shelve
You’ll open the book to chapter twelve
And then you and I will both know
The reason why I had to go
But was it right, should I have stayed
Or was it just too little too late

So you open the book and to your surprise
A neatly folded note dropped from inside
After searching through your heart to find a reason
Of why I was gone and didn’t say
You found the note of why I was leaving
Well now it’s too little too late

After all these years its time to see me again
Face to face we stand with the note in your hand
Last time we hugged as lovers and this time as friends
We talk for hours with many stories to tell
With hours of revelations and of hells
Laughter and crying all through the night
It had been so long but it felt so right
As you leave for the door I told you to wait
“I can’t I’m sorry, it’s too little to late”

I guess that’s what life has taught to me
Of the ups and downs and the sites to see
Of all our lives, destinies, and fates
It always ends up as too little, too late

since this is the last song i figured i would just write an overall comment.. the reason why these words mean so much and are so wonderful is because they are from the heart. when you can write and mean it.. then you can call yourself amazing...i'm still AMAZED...~mandy

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
