"Pulse" as written by and John/butler Ashton....
these are ruins of all that we could have been. crushed and condemned ourselves for immaterial gain. the weapons of words shot holes through our masquerades. now what is left will remind us of every coming day all of us could have been so much more than hate. callous words and crooked smiles wreck the dreams of rebuilding what we had. bonds by memory fave frayed.

in my opinion it's the best "you and i" song.
    but they are all incredible.

General CommentYeah, I can't believe nobody's commented. This and tell me about your childhood are probably the best you and i songs in my opinion.

But for the song meaning, I'm assuming that it's about losing a partner and theres no room left to 'rebuild' and 'repair' the relationship they once had.
