"Oddity" as written by Bradley James Fafara, Mike Cox, Miguel Rascon and Rayna Foss....
This is the way it's got to be...

Crawl beneath this filthy ground
And underneath this dirty ground
I crawl beneath this filthy ground
And underneath these dirty leaves

Seems to me to be the insanity
It seems to me I've become the oddity
It seems to me I need some identity
Seems to me I've become the oddity

Keep this high now keep this high
Said I better
Keep this high now keep this high
Said I better

Keep this high now keep this high
Said I better
Keep this high now keep this high

This is the way it's got to be...

No fear, so depraved, break

General CommentGreat stuff. For the song's meaning, I think hes saying hes forgotton who he was (need some identity) and become something he totally doesnt want to be (ive become the oddity). But he cant change it (this is the way its got to be)

General CommentThese lyrics don't match the demo version. This is the actual version of Oddity. However since they are very similar, I'll explain the meaning in both.

It's about losing who you are as a person, losing your identity, and it simply has to be that way.

"Seems to me I need some identity" and "This is the way it's got to be".
