when the roll hits the tree
you wonder what its for, yeah you wonder what it's for
when this poop hits your fan
you wonder if it's right or wrong
but you stand on their lawn
dressed in your black on black
and as you take another throw, you know
it really doesn't matter

tp's not a crime, no tp's not a crime
it doesn't cost a dime, and it's more fun than masturbation
tp's not a crime, hey! tp's not a crime
but if your dad found out, he'd fill you full of lime

your neighbors think you're a nice guy
but they don't know your secret
that you're the one who decorates their lawn each christmas
and you're the one that's seen what they watch on latenite tv

tp's not a crime, no tp's not a crime
it doesn't cost a dime, and it's more fun than masturbation
tp's not a crime, hey! tp's not a crime
but if your dad found out, he'd fill you full of lime

one more night is done
and before as your neighbors wake up for their funny papers and coffee
they'll know you left them another present
a little piece of art for them to enjoy
and remember this, next time you catch a kid on your lawn
that when you were his age, you did it too

tp's not a crime, no tp's not a crime
it doesn't cost a dime, and it's more fun than masturbation
tp's not a crime, hey! tp's not a crime
but if your dad found out, he'd fill you full of lime

i heard these guys play at a little show in marshalltown, iowa. they might not have what you would call talent. but they're lyrics are a real eye opener, and really make you think about the state our world is in. i think we could all learn from their example. you can tell they've really done their homework.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
