I think I'll tell a friend
Just to let 'em in on a secret I know
No, I better not
I'm too paranoid to let anyone know

I'm feeling so proud
I can spell blood in alphabet soup
Can you?

No, sorry so sorry
I'm the only one
I'm the only one
I'm the only one
Ha ha ha ha ha
And you will never know
You will never know
You will never know
Ha ha ha ha ha
I'm feeling so proud
I can spell blood
In alphabet soup
Can you?

I think I'll tell a friend
Just to let 'em in on a secret I know
There there's blood in alphabet soup

The impression that I got from this song was that he found something out, kinda sensed something that was wrong with something that's usually good (sort of like trouble in paradise). I think he's going crazy in a way, in keeping the news to himself, but he can't decide if he should tell anyone.

I feel like this song was written for me. No idea what he means, but it fits in with how I feel perfectly.

A kid that Woz knew said he could spell love in his alphabet soup, and he used it as inspiration

This song sounds alot like "Even In His Youth" by Nirvana. But still, it's a pretty good track. Marcy Playground should be more known.

As for the meaning, L Hodges nailed it.

I think this song is talking about how there's something more (for lack of a better word) evil(blood)- in something innocent and childish(alphabet soup) and also about keepig it a secret because he's paranoid if that makes any sense whatsoever lol just figured I'd throw in my ten cents and confuse us both

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
