MARIE
last night i pressed my forehead against the most western facing window in my home
and i squinted as hard as i could and looked out as far as i could see
but there still wasn't you
and you know my car still smells of you, i drove home from philadelphia wasted on your scent

dreaming of kissing on the interstate and passing out on power grids
and im sorry im not what you wanted
im all i've got to give and i know sometimes it's not enough
but the more i think of you, the more i want to be

you know the picture you drew still hangs on my wall
and the week you were here still dances on my bedroom floor
spring will be here soon and the moon will glow a yellow shade of blue

and now im waiting for tomorrows moon so i can see you again.

General CommentThis song, to me, seems like the scream you feel like shouting when all you want to do is be with that one person you tried hard to not mess it up for, but wasn't enough. Everything reminds you of that person.

    The smell in the car.
The picture she drew is on the wall.
His mind's daydreams controls his moods...

The anticipation is set on that last line.

This is definitely their best song.
