"I Think We're Alone Now" as written by and Ritchie Cordell....
Children behave
That's what they say when we're together
And watch how you play
They don't understand

And so we're running just as fast as we can
Holdin' onto one another's hand
Tryin' to get away into the night
And then you put your arms around me
And we tumble to the ground and then you say

I think we're alone now
There doesn't seem to be anyone around
I think we're alone now
The beating of our hearts is the only sound

Look at the way
We gotta hide what we're doin'
'Cause what would they say
If they ever knew

And so we're running just as fast as we can
Holdin' onto one another's hand
Tryin' to get away into the night
And then you put your arms around me
And we tumble to the ground and then you say

I think we're alone now
There doesn't seem to be anyone around
I think we're alone now
The beating of our hearts is the only sound

I think we're alone now
(Alone now)
There doesn't seem to be anyone around
I think we're alone now
(Alone now)
The beating of our hearts is the only sound

I think we're alone now
(Alone now)
There doesn't seem to be anyone around
I think we're alone now
(Alone now)
The beating of our hearts is the only sound

General CommentYeah, secret relationship anyone? The adults probably don't know how far this "friendship" has gone... "children... watch how you play", or they know what might happen and are trying to prevent something: "I think we're alone now, there doesn't seem to be anyone around..." and " Look at the way
We gotta hide what we're doing
    Cause what would they say
    If they ever knew "

General CommentYep, it's about keeping your relationship hidden.

General CommentMost likely from their parents because they are younger or from opposite sides of the tracks.

General CommentI think it also has to do with teenage lust and thinking adults and parents don't understand the excitement of "experimenting"

General Commenti think that its just about loving someone, but the families dont aprove, and that the "children behave" is sorta meant to express how they feel that they are treated. could be that they are teens, but its not necessarily so.
