"Dream Machine" as written by Ron Austin, Jimmy Fernandez and Gary Proper-sheppard....
Talk to yourself
Listen because no one else will
And shine your star
Shine your star
Shine your star
Lock your door
And keep the strangers away
Talk to your imaginary friends
That only you can see
And stare
Stare into your dream machine
See what you see but don't say that you see it
Hide yourself less someone will steal it
Hide your love
Hide your love
Sunday velvet

My InterpretationMaybe because I have Asperger Syndrome myself, but this song comes across as very autistic. It seems to be about someone locked up in his own dream world, not connected very well to the real world, not understanding the other people and vice versa, but not minding too much and enjoying talking to the imaginary friends and drifting away in his dream world. Not sure what the "Sunday Velvet" at the end could refer to.
