"My Generation (The Who cover)" as written by and Peter Townshend....
People try to put us down
(talkin' 'bout my generation)
Just because we get around
(talkin' 'bout my generation)
Things they do look awful cold
(talkin' 'bout my generation)
I hope I die before get old
(talkin' 'bout my generation)

This is my generation
This is my generation, baby

Why don't you all fade away
(talkin' 'bout my generation)
And don't try to dig what we all say
(talkin' 'bout my generation)
I'm not trying to cause a big sensation
(talkin' 'bout my generation)
I'm just talkin' 'bout my generation
(talkin' 'bout my generation)

This is my generation
This is my generation, baby

Why don't you all fade away
(talkin' 'bout my generation)
And don't try to dig what we all say
(talkin' 'bout my generation)
I'm not trying to cause a big sensation
(talkin' 'bout my generation)
I'm just talkin' 'bout my generation
(talkin' 'bout my generation)

This is my generation
This is my generation, baby
My my my my generation, baby

People try to put us down
(talkin' 'bout my generation)
Just because we get around
(talkin' 'bout my generation)
Things they do look awful cold
(talkin' 'bout my generation)
Yeah, I hope I die before get old
(talkin' 'bout my generation)

This is my generation
This is my generation, baby
My my my my generation, baby

Talkin' 'bout my generation
Talkin' 'bout my generation
Talkin' 'bout my generation
Talkin' 'bout my generation
Talkin' 'bout my generation
Talkin' 'bout my generation
Talkin' 'bout my generation
Talkin' 'bout my generation

General CommentThe reason they close it at gigs is because its a tribute to The Who... they obviously respect them alot.

Great cover!!!! and a perfect gig closer... keeps u all fired up even tho u know they are going off at the end of the song.

General CommentNow Zak is Oasis' drummer they can play this song properly. And my god dont they. A fitting end to the set on the last tour.

General CommentI wonder the differences in Zak's drumming when he's playing for The Who or Oasis on this song.
