"Enjoy the Silence (Depeche Mode cover)" as written by and Martin Lee Gore....
Words like violence
Break the silence
Come crashing in
Into my little world
Painful to me
Pierce right through me
Can't you understand?
Oh my little girl
All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm
Vows are spoken
To be broken
Feelings are intense
Words are trivial
Pleasures remain
So does the pain
Words are meaningless
And forgettable
All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm

All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm
All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm

Enjoy the silence

General Commenti disagree formicula, that wouldn't make much sense in the given context. more likely that it's
"words are meaningsless and ARE forgettable".

General CommentAlmost as good as the original version. And I'm pretty sure Tori sings
    "Words are meaningless
    And UNforgettable" in her song.

General CommentThis is a great song showing much emotion. The original is flawless of course - Depeche Mode did it first.

General CommentBoth versions are very different even though its the same lyrics. Tori Amos makes it sound like she's calm, she's reached serenity from drugs. but Depeche Mode's version is like.. happier? I love both versions, but i have a soft spot for Tori Amos. hah

General CommentI like this cover...it's very simplistic and very straight to the point...yet, I still think I like the original better. But I still love Tori! :)
