I only fear God
Look at my squad
We cannot be stopped
Man what are the odds
I only fear God
Look at my squad
We cannot be stopped
Man what are the odds

Look at my squad
Always go hard
Never try
Take my
Soul I'm
Armed
Look at my squad
Always go hard
No lie
So fly
We blessed by God
Halo shining
Angels all around me
It don't matter what you say or think about me
When I look behind me
Got an army by me
So I fear nobody
Cant nobody stop
Look at my squad
Look at my
Look at my
I only fear

I only fear God
Look at my squad
We cannot be stopped
Man what are the odds
I only fear God
Look at my squad
We cannot be stopped
Man what are the odds

Tag on my back so I secure
Covered in his blood so I know that I'm pure
Revival is coming I'm praying for more
I'm praying for more
Im praying for more
My squad is an army for sure
Strapped up and ready for war
Were strapped up and ready for war
Were strapped up and ready
Squad is deep like a pack wolves
But the Holy Spirit tells us how to move
Blessing stacked like a treasure chest
Grace pulled me out when I was in a mess
God got the best for me
Got faith of a mustard seed
I only fear God
I only fear God you see

I only fear God
Look at my squad
We cannot be stopped
Man what are the odds
I only fear God
Look at my squad
We cannot be stopped
Man what are the odds

Tim Booth spoke about this on Faith And Music - it's about the moment he and Jim saw through John Yarr's lies during their involvement in the Lifewave sect, a cult leader who preached a hugely restrictive and celibate lifestyle while screwing around with some of the female membership. More generally, it's about spiritual leaders who become so focused on their own spirituality that they forget who they are as physical beings with human vices.

I think he says, I speak in the name of God, I'm an intermediary, I'm a mullah, I'm a prophet, I'm a vicar. I love this song.

He sure puts it to organized religion like no other song ever has. I bet he hopes he's right.....

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
