how can i let you touch me again
i'm like honey in your hands
just wanting to sweeten the falcon
but afraid bitterness has set in
how can i touch you again
how will i fit in your plans
and how can i wake in your arms
now that you've been with another woman again
how can i let you look at me again
i've always shied away from comparisons
your hidden charms, gold will soon tarnish
and uncover hallowness from within
how can i touch you again
how will i fit in your plans
and how can i wake in your arms
now that you've been with another woman again
i'm not the girl i dreamed i'd be
i swore that i would satisfy my man's needs
but is it i, "the queen", you used to call me that
i spared by giving you everything
how can i look at you
how can i trust you
how can i touch you again

General Commentthis song is about cheating on someone...its to her boyfriend asking him how she can ever touch him or talk to him again after sleeping with another girl and even though she loves him she can't bring herself to forget what he did...*im like honey in your hands* she is slowly fading away...you cant hold honey without it dripping...

General Commentweather this is a tori song or not i have no idea, but it's really good, I love the way it captures the emotions you have when you love someone but you know they've been with someone else. The hurt is just too difficult to get over, if you are deeply in love with them.

General CommentThis is a "lost song," written back in her very early music days, when she was known as Myra Ellen Amos / Ellen Amos.

It's interesting how straightforward this song is, compared to her later songs, which feature multiple layers and meanings.

I love that she revisits Honey and Sugar in her later songs, with richer results.

Interesting that this song gets into body image and comparisons. Notice how she takes the blame for her man straying. :(
