I'm fishing for Lisa
Like a meeting in the water
Lost I should have known better now
I sit here trying to count my loss

I thought you were my reason to live

I'm trying to find my angel
You give me nothing
Get the same returned
I said it would be this hard
So if you want it
When are you going to learn

I thought you were my reason to live

When are you going to wake up
When are you going to want what's in your face
When are you going to give up
Cos when you do I'm going to take your place

I thought you were my reason to live
I thought you were my reason to live

I'm fishing for Lisa
Like a meeting in the water
Lost I should have known better
Than a lecture at your daughters cost

I thought you were my reason to live

General Commentno one has commented on this song! it is such a beautiful song, by new zealand band, the feeelers. prolly why it isnt very well known. i think its about how he wants what he cant have. she was everything to him, but she has gone, and he thought she was the reason for him to live. simple message, but really well down.

General CommentThis is a beautiful song and it is actually based on a short relationship James, the singer and writer had when they were overseas producing this album and touring. Its good to play on the guitar also.
