"I don't know" as written by and R.l. Iii/glover Altman....
Listen now to what I say
About the kids of today
Suscribe to them all your fears
'Til they become like you

What poor gods we do make
What poor gods we do make
What poor gods we do make
What poor gods we do make
I don't know
I don't know
I don't know
i don't know

So listen now to what I say
About the kids of today
Suscribe to them all your fears
'Til they become like you

Teach them all your fallacies
Contain them in reality
Suscribe to them all your fears
'Til they become like you

Then a slippage happens
In your ranks
And causes all... Your morals sank
For us to create our own
And we became like you

What poor gods we do make
What poor gods we do make
What poor gods we do make
What poor gods we do make
I don't know
I don't know
I don't know
i don't know

What poor gods we do make
What poor gods we do make
I don't know
I don't know

General CommentMy favorite NR song. I like the frenzied guitar riff at the beginning. The song's sentiments have always eminded me of Stiff Little Fingers' "Suspect Device" sort of a veiled threat about the dangers that can come when you attempt to control people.
