"Siberian Kiss" as written by Daryl Palumbo and Justin Beck....
Siberian Kiss
Give me back
My pictures of me.
Me, you and him makes three.
It figures the wheezing will measure your rate

Of depress
And I hope you know.
Like a bitch in heat,
I hope she know.

So put another coin in and turn the crank
Until the frames cease to move
And the movie turns into a photo,
A photo the size of a kiss
I hope she knows.

Staring at a Parisian sex flick
Where the characters don't meet
The characters don't speak
And the characters are like mirrors facing mirrors:
Space always expanding.

So put another coin in and turn the crank
Until the frames cease to move
And the movie turns into a photo,
A photo the size of my fist
I hope she knows.

A hiccup in paradise
I keep you jealously to myself,
In a photo the size of a kiss
A kiss in the shape of a bullet.

On phone lines and letterheads
I'm dying about.

I've watched you whore yourself out for one more thing.
There's always one more thing.
If I can't have you no one will.

Pushing a lover to love another.
Are you turned on?

I keep you jealously to myself.

My InterpretationI feel like darly feels he pushed her away, and in many ways was very negative in the relationship, and still holds on to the relationship in a negative way, by being so caught up in it and so depended on it. at the same time the relationship is over, and he obsesses over her but he sees her as he commonly refers to girls, as a whore. this is obvious in some of the lyrics. and maybe him can mean multiples, but obviously a relationship isn't working with three people. he might still be seeing her but is just upset that they are no longer together. he relates to her new relationships as watching a foreign porn at a peepshow. he sees it as foreign because he feels that he doesn't know her. in many relationships we dont get to really know the person. you don't know of all the dirty things they do or have done, because a lot of times we hide this side of us or we put up a front. he feels he doesn't know her at all.

in some of the lyrics tho i may be taking it wrong, maybe he wasn't pushing her to love another person but her actions and "selling" herself around has pushed him to sleep with random girls or try to cling onto a new relation ship.

the picture reminds him of the kiss which gives him the feeling of mourning, and guilt, hatred and nostalgia, all of these feelings are killing him inside. represented by a bullet.

a lot of things are my perception, and how i hear the song. the song is brilliantly written of course. but this is the kind of stuff we should be talking about, theres glassjaw forums where you can talk about how excited you are about them playing with trustcompany or how head automatica sucks. with such poetic lyrics as this, many things are up to interpretation.

General CommentDaryl says: "She couldn't have been any more empty when she was with me than she was. She, when she was with me was a completely empty person in everything she did with and to me...and was completely empty for a long time. That's what that's supposed to mean..a kiss, something that's fulfilling and warm, and it was just the coldest shit."

General CommentThis is one of the best songs GlassJAw ever did. Shows his anger and pain that he went through.
    I love the line:
    "A hiccup in paradise"
Daryl felt like he was the hiccup in the relationship that seemed like paradise with this girl.
    "On phone lines, and letterheads
I'm dying about, I'm dying about"
Talking about how hes dying to call her or write her. I know how that feels when every single day that passes when you don't even talk to someone seems like an eternity and you're just dying to talk to them somehow but know you shouldn't
