Today you told me that I'd hate you forever
I can't believe what's really going on
Somehow I knew that you felt guilty for something
But tell me why you do this to me
Today you told me that I'd hate you forever
I can't believe that you'd wreck my life

I was betrayed, how can you say that you feel sorry inside
It's never staying, losing close friends
I've gone away, you make me stay but I can't tell it from lies
I've gone insane, losing close friends

Today I made the worst mistake
I put my trust into someone I don't know
And now I know because you've done everything possible to me
Made me so upset
And now I know just who to trust because you're laying in bed
You're thinking 'bout all that fucked up shit

I was betrayed, how can you say that you feel sorry inside
It's never staying, losing close friends
I've gone away, you make me stay but I can't tell it from lies
(Lies)
I've gone insane, losing close friends

I'm so weak
The closeness of your skin
The smell of this place
Makes me go insane

I

You make me go insane
You make me go insane

I was betrayed, how can you say that you feel sorry inside
It's never staying, losing close friends
I've gone away, you make me stay but I can't tell it from lies
I've got insane, losing close friends

Losing close friends
Losing close friends

adema is defenatley creative with the poetic lyrics of hard life that they write about. i can almost always relate to their songs. the song was written to explain how they feel about someone that seems to have caused a lot of heartbreak. adema maybe writting to blame themselves for trusting someone they shouldn't have, "Today I made the worst mistake I put my trust into someone I don't know"

this song is about someone who ut trust into a close friend, almost like a lover. the close friend took advantage of this trust and broke it. this person finally told them that they had betryed them and that they are sorry. They hope that this person regets their mistake and hopes that they think about it non stop. The 5th verse down explains how hard it is not the remember someone that was once special to you.

Trust is one of the hardest things to get from ppl now. Trust is the basis of all relationships. If you lose trust, you feel as if everything is going down and you want to die...well, maybe not SO dramatic, but you should know what I mean, ;)

I think this is a song about him being betrayed from one of his best friends. And now that he lost this friend, he doesn't know what to do anymore. And I know how he feels, because I have had a lot of friends that are fakell fake. They turn on you all the time, and you really can't trust anyone.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
