"Left Behind" as written by Christopher Michael Fehn, Paul Dedrick Gray, Nathan Jonas Jordison, Corey Todd Taylor, Michael Shawn Crahan, Mickael Gordon Thomson, Sidney George Wilson, James Donald Root and Craig Alan Jones....
I've known faces that have disappeared in time
Find me wrapped in glass and slowly soaked in lime
All my friends have pictures made to make you cry
I've seen this and wondered what I've done to
Calcify

(I ignore you)
As I close my eyes, I feel it all slipping away
(I come toward you)
We all got left behind, we let it all slip away

(I ignore you)
As I close my eyes, I feel it all slipping away
(I come toward you)
We all got left behind, we let it all slip away

I can't stand to see your thalidomide robot face
Don't even try it! You had be a liar just to
Infiltrate me I'm still drowning

(I ignore you)
As I close my eyes, I feel it all slipping away
(I come toward you)
We all got left behind, we let it all slip away

(I ignore you)
As I close my eyes, I feel it all slipping away
(I come toward you)
We all got left behind, we let it all slip away

Take, this, away
Take, this, away
I can feel it on my mouth
I can taste you on my fingers
I can hear you like the holy ghost
And kill you if you get too close

(I ignore you)
As I close my eyes, I feel it all slipping away
(I come toward you)
We all got left behind, we let it all slip away

(I ignore you)
As I close my eyes, I feel it all slipping away
(I come toward you)
We all got left behind, we let it all slip away
We let it all slip away
We let it all slip away
We let it all slip away
We let it all slip away

General CommentThis is a song about Corey when he was homeless. He made so many friends and trusted them with life.. he shared space and everything. And now when he have a house and everything the old faces just dissapears.

General CommentIn my view,(do not take this litterally, this is a personal view, and is only to be read with an open mind) this song is about how we all just watch life go by. Some people who may be part of our lives probably bring us to the point where life is no longer a thrill, but a kill.

General CommentThis songs about the rapture?
Well FUCK GOD. FUCK the rapture. And fuck anyone thinking they are going to scare me with their childish fairy tale of END TIMES because everyone has an END TIMES so no one can say they TOLD YOU SO when you do EVENTUALLY die.
I hate you religious mother fuckers. Fuck you.

General CommentJust wanted to make a note on thalidomide. It's a fucked up drug. Anyway, the song talks about "thalidomide robot face." Thalidomide can cause nerver damage. Some side effects can eventually cause defects in the face and eyes. A face will look emotionless and numb . . . lazy eyes too. Basically look like a robot.
