"Sometimes" as written by Jeremy Enigk, William Goldsmith, Dan Hoerner and Nate Mendal....
Sometimes
I can't lay down
My past
Sometimes
I'm too blind to see
You laughing at me
Although you hit me hard
I come back

Some...
Some-times
You drag me on
No words to explain
although you through away my name
From your mind
I have to try
Although my heart is bruised by your words

Sometimes
Sometimes
Sometimes

Sometimes
I can't lay down
My past
Sometimes
I'm too blind to see
You laughing at me
Although you hit me hard
I come back

Some...
Some...
Sometimes, you drag me on
No words to explain
although you through away my name
From your mind
I have to try
Although my heart is bruised by your words

Sometimes...
Sometimes...

Away now
Take me away

Away right words

General CommentThis song is like laying down in your bedroom at midnight with the rain pouring lighlty outside. It's a perect, depressing song to listen to when everything is just wrong.

General Commentthis song is amazing. i love how after an eventful part of your life you find one song and listen to it constantly because it seems to describe your life just right. it's great to feel that you're not alone in the world. for some odd reason during a few weeks i'd write that part on my hand everyday

Altough you through away my name
    From your mind
    I have to try
Although my heart is bruised by your words

i'd go to school and people would want to know what i was depressed and i'd just show them my hand or i'd just stare at it for hours on end. maybe i sound a bit crazy but this song is beautiful.

General CommentAre you kidding me? I am amazed that there aren't more comments for this song. It is so powerful. My friends used to do a fun punk/hardcore kareoke. And this song is so sad and angry at the same time. Completely cathartic and amazing on repeat.

General CommentWhat is with this anti-emoism? I wish people would stop bashing emos! We aren't all pathetic, overdramatic kids who feign depression for an image! We don't cut, we don't cry ourselves to sleep AND we aren't depressed! We are what the term 'emo' stands for; EMOTIONAL. There are all kinds of emotions not just sadness. Empathy is a major emotion behind most emo music, not sadness and depression.

I think everyone just hates the emo sub-culture for two reasons...
    1. The fake cutters who are posers and trivialise the whole, serious issue of self-harm.
    2. And because everyone is afraid of feeling empathy for people! It's true! Everyone is so self-absorbed that they don't want to understand for a moment what it's like to be in someone else shoes or to feel someone else's pain/happiness. Well, like the British/Indian comedy title, "life isn't all ha ha hee hee" and the media pressures everyone to be happy all the time even if they aren't. That being said there is NOTHING wrong with being GENUINELY happy. But gaining happiness from putting others down is just pathetic.
