(This is a fair request,
and I promise I will not judge any person only as a teenager.
If you will constantly remind yourself that some of my generation
Judges people by their race, their belief, or the color of their skin,
And that this is no more right than saying all teenagers are
Drunken dope-addicts or glue-sniffers.)

Do you think its strange
That there's a way
Of how you look and how you act and how you think
Pretend they're not the same as you

Do you think its strange
That there's a way
Of how you look and how you act and how you think
Pretend they're not the same as you

Did you know about his strength of conviction
Or how she puts all her faith in religion
Did we take the time
To really discover
How little we know about each other

Keep us from saying anything
Can't separate from everything
Yet all this really means is
You're one in a crowd and
You're paranoid of every sound
Another friend you won't miss anyhow

Do you think its strange
That there's a way
Of how you look and how you act and how you think
Pretend they're not the same as you

Do you know about his strength of conviction
Or how she puts all her faith in religion
Did we take the time
To really discover
How little we know about each other

To keep us from saying anything
And separate from everything
Yet all this really means is
You're one in a crowd and
You're paranoid of every sound

Keep us from saying anything
Can't separate from everything
Yet all this really means is
You're one in a crowd and
You're paranoid of every sound
Another friend you won't miss anyhow

Do you know about his strength of conviction
Or how she puts all her faith in religion
Did we take the time
To really discover
How little we know about each other

Keep us from saying anything
Can't separate from everything
Yet all this really means is
You're one in a crowd and
You're paranoid of every sound

Keep us from saying anything
Can't separate from everything
Yet all this really means is
You're one in a crowd and
You're paranoid of every sound

Paranoid of every sound
Paranoid of every sound

I've been listening to less than jake for 6 years now, and this is one of their best. It's just telling you to open up your eyes and take a good look at the people around you. Do you really know them? If theanswer is no, then maybe you should take the time to do it. That's my take, anyway.

Yeah, you can never hate a person just because of the fact that they may listen to music that sucks, or something micro that has nothing to do with their personality. A lot of my best friends are metalheads, too. ^_^

I've been listening to ltj for about six years as well and this is one of my favorite. I think that when you sit a person down and get to know them it will shock you. Even if they're your friend, what you do know is so little. Just think about how complex your personality is you can't possibly really know most people like you think you do. I love ltj with all my heart their lyrics give me goosebumps half the time. I only dream that I will one day be able to write shit that expresses myself as well as they do.

One thing that's not very obvious about LTJ is that most of the guys are big metal fans. It's the old saying "you cant judge a book by its cover."

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.

Midnight
Ed Sheeran
“Midnight” is a song about finding a love that is so true that it provides a calming feeling through every storm. Ed Sheeran reflects on his good fortunes in landing someone with such peace and support and speaks of not fearing the dark days because he knows they’ll all end in the safety nets of her arms. “Well, good morning there / What a way to start the day / With everything laid bare,” Ed Sheeran sings in the first verse, enthusiastic to be waking up beside his woman. He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
