I sat and thought the other day how it seems strange
That we could walk through life so blind
And how a lot of people never change.

I'm not trying to say I have the answer
All I know for sure is that we weren't put here
To serve ourselves, that's so selfish
To think that we're put on this earth just for pleasure
I know that there's much more than that.

But I won't tell you what it is; it's up to you
To decide for yourself what is wrong and what is right
And know that we all make mistakes, there's always time
To turn your life around and change
All the wrong decisions that you've made.

And I promise that I won't settle for less.

I won't write it off.

General Commenthow can this hav no comments? its one of the coolest songs. Its like they're saying there's higher forces in the world than what we see. People now r more selfish and just live for themself. Also that no matter how many mistakes u make there is also a chance to fix them. this is great ataris song i love it.

General CommentSomething in this song doesnt quite click with me. There is a time in everyones life where they have to be selfish, where that IS the right decision. Some wrong decisions can never be made right.

General CommentMaybe I'm a little of base with this...but I think there might be a connection. The Moody Blues (if you dont know who I'm talking about, you need to study up on rock history) had a song called Question. I just sort of wonder if maybe The Ataris called this song Answer as a tribute to the Moody Blues. Or maybe I'm insane.

General Commenti think it means that God put us on this earth to accomplish something not only to accomplish something for ourselves but to help other people too. and that so many people think about themselves that its so incredible to find at least one person that doesnt. i also think that you make your decisions so to choose them wisely and if you do screw up you always have a chance to fix it.
