"Don't Think of Me" as written by Rollo Armstrong, Dido Armstrong, Pauline Annita Taylor and Paul Philip Herman....
So you're with her, and not with me,
I hope she's sweet, and so pretty
I hear she cooks delightfully,
A little angel beside you
So you're with her, and not with me,
Oh how lucky one man can be
I hear your house is small and clean,
Oh how lovely with your homecoming queen
Oh how lovely it must be

When you see her sweet smile baby, don't think of me
When she lays in your warm arms, don't think of me

So you're with her, and not with me,
I know she spreads sweet honey
In fact your best friend,
I heard he spent last night with her
Now how do you feel, how do you feel

When you see her sweet smile baby, don't think of me
When she lays in your warm arms, don't think of me

And it's too late and it's too bad, don't think of me
Oh it's too late and it's too bad, don't think of me
Does it bother you now all the mess I made
Does it bother you now the clothes you told me not to wear
Does it bother you now all the angry games we played
Does it bother you now when I'm not there

When you see her sweet smile baby, don't think of me
When she lays in your warm arms, don't think of me

And it's too late and it's too bad, don't think of me
And it's too late, and it's too bad, don't think of me.

General Commentcatherineks, LOL! Yeah, I like Alanis Morisette, but that song grates on my nerves after listening to it for awhile. This song is good, and the lyrics are cleaner, but I think Dido's voice is rather blank here and better suited for haunting songs - she doesn't convey her anger very well.

here i dont think shes rubbing it in his face, i think she feels sorry for him, because she still loves him and wants him to be happy. but he hurt her by cheating on her with this new girl, and shes saying "now you know how it feels"

General Comment"but he hurt her by cheating on her with this new girl" I never thought about it like that before, I always thought he had left her for the new girl but never actually cheated on her.

General CommentI dislike this song for it's nasty negativity. I didn't get all the lyrics until I read them here, but it's still sneering. Yuck.

General Commentoh, bitter bitter bitter. this is a much more listenable version of alanis morisette's "you oughta know". clearly, the narrator wants to be with this guy, but some other chick has beat her to it.

General Commenti think she was kicking it with this guy and then he dumped her for the "homecoming queen" and when he realises he did the wrong thing . hes too late and he aint getting her back.
