"Clockwork" as written by Christopher Hughes, Christopher Johnson, Phillip Robinson, Robert Kucharek and Greig Nori....
You're probably sick of being tired
You can't find the strength to close your eyes
You can't let go,
But you can't change everything
Stop laying in this burning bed

Write it on the walls and read it
Bright red so you can see it
Don't fail me now
Write it on the walls and read it
Until there are no secrets
So safe and sound
At least for now

Time's gonna warn you with a whisper
What it wants to let you know
You can't live in fear of the things that aren't for sure
So stay alive by playing dead

Write it on the walls and read it
Bright red so you can see it
Don't fail me now
Write it on the walls and read it
Until there are no secrets
So safe and sound

Still there are lines for us to write before we close our eyes
And only time will tell the ending when the ink runs dry
Time will tell everything,
It's ever so quiet counting down

Write it on the walls and read it
Blood red so you can see it
Life leaking out
Write it on the walls and read it
Until there are no secrets
So safe and sound
At least for now
At least for now

General CommentI saw these guys at a show at the glass house last night, and they were the second best band there next to finch. When they played this song it kicked ass, the crowd went wild, these guys rock.

General CommentI think that basically, this song is saying that we all have to make decisions in life, even tough ones, where we aren't sure if we are making the right one or not. The song says that we will never be able to see what would have happened had we chosen a different path, and we need to accept that as a fact of life. I think the title, "Clockwork" is saying that life is like clockwork, where the gears turn with a set motion, and we cannot change that, referring to the fact that we can't go back and see all the "Might haves" and "Could have beens". This song is great also.

General CommentI think it's saying take chances... don't be afraid of the choices you make... and don't live in fear of "what might happen" if we don't take the chance we will never know... and time will eventually explain everything when it's all said and done..

short and sweet -take chances and don't regret the past-

General CommentLike this song a lot too.. It was in the SSX3 videogame and I always listen to it when I go snowboarding..

ABout the meaning I agree with most of you up there.. Life goes on.. instead of just letting things happen you have to make decisions, even hard ones..

You can compare it with snowboarding in fact.. haha..
everything jsut goes so fast but you still have to make those decisions, where to go..

anywho, great song, I realla wanna see them live =)

General CommentOh yeah and the lyrics up there are incomplete, these are the correct ones, unsure about the part in brackets.. it's really low so its difficult to hear..

You're probably sick of being tired
You can't find the strength to close your eyes
    You can't let go
    But you can't change everything
Stop laying in this burning bed

Write it on the walls and read it
Bright red so you can see it
    Don't fail me now
Write it on the walls and read it
    Until there are no secrets
    So safe and sound
    At least for now

Time's gonna warn you with a whisper
What it wants to let you know
You can't live in fear of the things that aren't for sure
So stay alive by playing dead

Write it on the walls and read it
Bright red so you can see it
    Don't fail me now
Write it on the walls and read it
    Until there are no secrets
    So safe and sound

Still there are lines for us to write before we close our eyes
And only time will tell the ending when the ink runs dry
    Time will tell everything
It's ever so quiet counting down

( that's why I write it down, left it there with the blood out of my hands to stare at and it drops right down It dried and I turned around and the blood was a small price to pay it made it real it made it real...

because I write it down, left it there with the blood on my hands to stare at and it drops right down It dried and I turned around the and the blood was a small price to pay it made it real it made it real... )

Write it on the walls and read it
Blood red so you can see it

General Commentthere are actually two versions of this song...the newer one is already posted on here as well...the one thats off "Make a Sound"

hate to be the bearer of bad news...but APO have been on hiatus for a lil over a year now...so you wont be seeing them live anytime soon...I hope they DO get back together and put out some new stuff and tour again...so then maybe you'll get to see them!
