"Be My Yoko Ono" as written by and Steven/robertson Page....
If there's someone you can live without, then do so
And if there's someone you can just shove out, well do so

You can be my Yoko Ono
You can follow me wherever I go
Be my, be my, be my, be my Yoko Ono, whoa oh

Isn't it beautiful to see two people so much in love?
Bare naked as two virgins hand in hand, and hand in hand in love
Now that I'm far away it doesn't seem to me to be such a pain
To have you hanging off my ankle like some kind of ball and chain

You can be my Yoko Ono
You can follow me wherever I go
Be my, be my, be my, be my Yoko Ono, whoa oh (be my Yoko)

Oh no, here we go
Our life is just one big pun
Ono, here we go as Yoko sings woo ho ho ho ho ho

I know that when I say this
I may be stepping on pins and needles (ho ho whoa)
But I don't like all these people slagging her for breaking up the Beatles
(Don't blame it on Yokey)
I mean if I was John and you were Yoko I would gladly give up musical genius
Just to have you as my very own personal Venus

(To doo to to to, hit it)
You can be my Yoko Ono (oh, whoa oh)
You can follow me wherever I go
Be my, be my, be my, be my Yoko Ono, whoa oh

Be my, be my, be my, be my, be my Yoko Ono, whoa
Be my, be my, be my, be my, be my Yoko Ono, whoa
Be my, be my, be my, be my, be my Yoko Ono, whoa whoa oh

General Comment*ahem* it was john lennon. john lennon from the beatles. just thought i'd clarify, because i've never heard of yoko ono and john denver being together. yeah.

my favorite part of this song is when he tries to sound like yoko "AIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEE!" that's so great.

General CommentThe song is not directly about Yoko, he's comparing his relationship to hers.. or something. funny stuff.

General CommentI think the bit about the pun refers to the "Barenaked as two virgins...." part, as well as the Oh no thing

General CommentI love the fact tht the part in the middle where he "yoddles" sounds exactly like what Yoko Ono sounded like when she tried to sing, even though she coudn't

General Commentyeah. it's not about yoko specifically, he's saying to a girl "Be my Yoko Ono." basically, i'd give up rock and roll for you.

General Commentthis song is about some guy who wants his girl to follow him around in all that he does. he compares their relationship to that of yoko ono and beattles great john lennon.

General CommentThis song does have the deeper meaning of a guy who would give up anything to be with this girl but it is also making fun of Yoko Ono and the whole situation with her and the Beatles. It is a classic BNL song, funny but meaningfull.
