This song is exactly how I feel right now. I just recently met this girl, whom the second I saw her I wanted to talk to her for some odd reason. Then when we talked we just clicked and she's the most amazing person I've ever met. I can talk to her about anything and everything. She's about 98% of what my dream girl would be and I do believe thats about as close as I can get and if it is I'm happy with it. only problem is she doesnt know how I feel because I'm worried that maybe she dont feel the same but I know that when Im with her or talking to her everythings okay and shes the first person I've ever met I actually feel can save me from my problems and take me away from reality when I need to be. Great song though

This song could be about soul mates or it could be about mother/child realtionship the song came out when I was preggers with my son. :) After I had him,I'd kinda dance with him in my arms and hum along to it. "A thousand angels dance around you,I am complete now that I've found you",is truly what is real. :) GREAT song. :)

inner-thoughts, That's an interesting way of thinking about it, one I haven't thought of. However, if you've seen the music video, it's about this guy and girl who saw one another and the guy (darren) is imagining his future with her. In the video, they do not meet but he feels he's know her forever. But maybe there's a different meaning here. Your translation makes sense though.

this song makes me cry, I just had my daughter a week ago and that was the first time i ever heard this savage garden song. I was sitting in the hospital room holding her when my bf played it and i related to it alot. I knew i loved her before she was born and i finally found my way home..she makes me a better person. So to me i see this song as a mother who is pregnant and seeing her baby for the first time. AMAZING song.

I think the line "I think I've found my best friend" is the best part :D

I am literally living this song...I've had many dreams throughout my life involving a guy who I didn't recognize. Mostly different dreams, but always the same guy. I never put a great amount of thought into it, until a few months ago. I started texting with this guy online and although he looked familiar I didn't make the connection immediately. Not until I had the one recurring dream involving the guy I didn't know, and when I woke up I immediately knew who he was. The guy I had dreamed about all my life was the guy I was texting through messanger. I know it sounds crazy, and I don't know how to explain it, but I am living this song....

We all set standards for ourselves as to what kind of person we want to be with. Yet friends would sometimes say, "try to lower your standards", "maybe your standards are too high, that is why you haven't met her". I tried but I just couldn't lower the standards, that my heart and mind has set for many years. I think this is just who am I. To my surprise, a few weeks ago I met someone who exactly fits.

Its like I tried and kept on looking until I met her. Though, currently I do not know how the future holds for the 2 of us, one this is certain I am glad that at least once in my life I met someone who is exactly what my mind and heart wants.

I used to listen to this song all the time, it never really had a purpose or anything. It just had beautiful lyrics and it was sweet. Now I am with the best guy, he is the perfect boyfriend and my significant other, this song best describes your significant other. :)
