Let me see (let me see)
All my life (taken) taken
This demon (haunts me) haunts me
They are hating me
Help me
You fuck me
I'm gagged and bound
You pick me up
When I am down
I cannot live without them
I do not live without them
Hey Daddy (Daddy)
They are taking me
Away
Biting
Facing me (what soul)
My soul
There ...
Please help me
You fuck me
I'm gagged and bound
You pick me up
When I am down
I cannot live without them
I do not live without them
They say this thing inside me
Wants to get out
All it does is scream and shout
I'm trying not to let them out
They tell me to hurt myself
But I'm not gonna listen
You fuck me
I'm gagged and bound
You pick me up
When I am down
I cannot live without them
I do not live without them
Hey daddy
(waiting)
All my life (taken) taken
This demon (haunts me) haunts me
They are hating me
Help me
You fuck me
I'm gagged and bound
You pick me up
When I am down
I cannot live without them
I do not live without them
Hey Daddy (Daddy)
They are taking me
Away
Biting
Facing me (what soul)
My soul
There ...
Please help me
You fuck me
I'm gagged and bound
You pick me up
When I am down
I cannot live without them
I do not live without them
They say this thing inside me
Wants to get out
All it does is scream and shout
I'm trying not to let them out
They tell me to hurt myself
But I'm not gonna listen
You fuck me
I'm gagged and bound
You pick me up
When I am down
I cannot live without them
I do not live without them
Hey daddy
(waiting)

This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
in his own words
"Hey Daddy" where I was schizophrenic and there were these voices telling me to do shit... To kill myself, basically. Daddy is one of my nicknames, so its like I'm talking to myself the whole time. It's hard to explain. - Jonathan Davis
Jon wasn't schizophrenic in the true, clinical definition, he was as close as one can be however during his addiction to speed. "Daddy" was one of his personalities. KoRn forever.
Jon was indeed raped as a child, which is why he wrote 'Daddy.' This is the sequel, which may be talking about addiction or mental disorder but also allows his trauma to show through.
No it wasn't it was about when he had schizophrenia, Daddy is what he named it. I'm sorry but stop talking shit.
ukie is right about this...he is talking to himself in this song..this aint no sequel
