"Wrong Way" as written by Mark Tremonti and Scott Stapp....
What makes you touch?
What makes you feel?
What makes you stop and smell the roses in an open field?
What makes you unclean?

Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

What makes you laugh?
What makes you cry?
What makes our youth run
From the thought that we might die?
What makes you bleed?
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Somebody told me the wrong way
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Somebody told me the wrong way

What if I died?
What did I give?
I hope it was an answer so you might live
I hope I helped you live
I hope I helped you live
I hope I helped you live
I hope I helped you live
Live

Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Somebody told me the wrong way
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Somebody told me the wrong way
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

General CommentThis is an amazing song seeing as it was comprised soley of all the leftover magnets from Scotts personal "Magnet Poetry" set he uses to write songs with.

There were a lot of 'what's and 'makes' left so he decided that that could be the basis of the song.

This also explains why the sentence "Somebody told me the wrong way" is incomplete.

Simply the IDEA of a song asking the listener a question is brilliant.

    Good job once again.

General CommentWell, I think you have this pretty well wrapped up... if you look back on the song... he is giving the listener advice, which

"I hope it was an answer so you might live
    I hope I helped you live "

Stapps telling you to get in touch with yourself and figure out what is going wrong, so that you might fix it... simply amazing song... stapps songs have so many meanings its almost impossible to cover them all

General Commenti agree totally with nsickler, this song is asking you to get to know yourself better, and i think the line "Somebody told me the wrong way" means he as listening to others and trying to conform and it didnt work out for him, when really he should listen to himself and develop as an individual

General Comment"What makes our youth run
From the thought that we might die? "

This part really makes me think of childhood, and when we learn about death...and understand it and its means, that's when our childhood ends.
