"Tyler's Song" as written by Bradley James Fafara, Mike Cox, Rayna Foss and Miguel Rascon....
Go son. If you get up but they strap you around.
Then just remember that I will always be there.
When I say to you daddy loves you understand.
I'm out in the real world again I'm trying.

Raise your guard again.
They don't give a damn.
Don't compromise your ideas for anyone else.
Respect your mom and always think of her first.

When I say to you daddy loves you understand I'm out in the real world again and I'm trying.
Raise your guard again. they don't give a damn.
Son, if the sun don't shine ill try like hell to make light from the dark for you.
Raise your guard again.

They don't give a damn.
Go son.

General Commenti think it is about dez telling his son that he cares about his son and does what he can for his son but other people wont give it easy on dez coz it is for his son, they wont care.

General CommentThis song reminds me of the song Down With The Sickness by Disturbed & the book A Child Called It. Dez is the father trying to help his son & to protect him from his evil mother.

General CommentHis mom seems like she does a pretty good job parenting, I mean, I don't see how you'd compare it to A Child Called It, in that book, she stabbed Dave, and he went to his father and said, "She stabbed me", and he asked if he was done with a chore.

I think this song is about Dez's love for Tyler, saying he'll always be there, no matter what.
