"Send In The Clowns" as written by and Ronald Ward....
They kept on comin' down to this place,
'Cause I could see it in their eyes
They made the world a fuckin' disgrace
And everything burn cold.

They kept on coming down to this place
'Cause I could see it in their eyes,
We took the world to heal the disgrace
Now everything burns fine.

I'm talkin' 'bout the ever changing winds of fame
I guess it just got cold in here
It comes full circle
No one ever changed our ways our
Little pill killed summer days, I
Guess it just got cold in here, it
Comes full circle,

They kept on comin' down to this place,
Like they were running out of time
To make the world a fuckin' disgrace
And everything burn cold.

They kept on coming down to this place
'cause I could see it in their eyes,
We took the world to heal the disgrace
Now everything burns fine.

Send in the clowns
(Send in the clowns...)
Well here come the clowns!

General CommentScooter says exactly what this song is about in the lyrics: "I'm talking about the ever changing winds of fame ".

The "clowns" are those one-hit-wonder bands who experience the "winds of fame", which blows them away after a while.

"We took the world to heal the disgrace, now everything burns fine" - After all these bands do their little thing, and sellout, they will still stand.

"Never ever changed our ways", saying they never sold-out.

I think that the line:"Little pill killed summer days", is about playing in band and how they spent their summer days playing and making songs etc...
