Everything that I've done here into one In keeping with... Some earned conviction, some stagnation, some change despair Disappointment and odds in a costume you can't take off I leave it behind I know that this time I get it for free Our latest rendition lame Reincarnate, return the same Still the best times are here now, now that I'm bored, now that I'm numb Done, I know this is wrong Safe in that stance but incomplete Leave it behind I know that this time I get in for free Some of it's habitual (2x) Sometimes the change is not enough and in the lost empathy memories of better days

General Comment(This is a song about personal improvement and reinvention. You can pretend to be something your not, or you can stive to create a purer version of yourself. And though it may seem an up hill battle, there are allways memories of those who except you unconditionally where you can find comfort.) This is my favorite song of all time. The thing I love about Lagwagon is that their songs can mean so much to me under so many circumstances. They seem to evlove with me. now that i'm bored: NowThatImNumb

General Commenti really like the line 'reincarnate, return the same'. maybe an endless cycle of mediocrity or some contrived routine.

the line about the best times having finally arrived strikes me as interesting too. he sounds as though he had long waited for them, and by time the supposed best days of his life came to light, he realized he had already become too indifferent to his situations to even care. it wasn't all it was chalked up to be, but he seems to feel a bit of relief in the understanding.

General CommentI'm guessing someone is getting stoned, I know its pretty far fetched, but still... This is my second favourite song after May 16.

General Commentits not a drug song. I think its about longing for the past. Hes stuck in routines, and getting bored, and remembering when things were new and fun... or something like that. Any ideas?

General CommentNah I wzas just making a stupid assumption as in "now that I'm bored, now that I'm numb " but yours is a better interpretation.

General CommentI hate it when people post up lyrics like this... I just don't know what he meant by "Get in for Free." This song sounds great.
