Wear 10 crowns, dragons heads
Southern are the sons, the lords unmatched
Their eyes down don't look right, should they be trusted now
Trash mouthed Gods, avoiding kings
With the spirit of revolt, the ghost of the youth

Every fucking year it stays the same
Everybody changes to suit the day
Out of pride I'll isolate my fears
Never turned our backs on why we're here
We'll grind that axe for a long time

Follow close the train of fools
Just like them (could be) just like you
Their eyes don't seem right
Easily impressed plague, for dressed up fakes
(I have) no respect

Every fucking year remains the same
Everybody sucks up to suit the day
Out of hate I'll isolate myself
Through the worst we still march into hell

[Repeat: x2]
We'll grind that axe for a long time

The smell in the air is chicken shit

Every fucking song remains the same
To everyone who sucks up for the fame
Out of strength you know we speak the truth
Every trend that dies is living proof
We'll grind that axe for a long time

General Comment:from what I got from this song is actually more of a
"grudge holding type of deal" where people hate you
for the rest of there lives over some mindless kiddie
shit.Just think of the saying "bury the hatchet" and it should come to mind.

General Comment:I agree with kdog. They're talking about how they'll keep on going and outlast all the fads and sellouts. I guess the lied about always bein' around though cause dimebag is dead. Unless he becomes a zombie. But then his rotten corpse fingers would fall off when he tried to play guitar. That is one dead bastard.

General Comment:This song is obviously about Star Wars. It is about the devotion that the Rebel Alliance holds against the Empire.

General Comment:This song gives me goose bumps. My favorite pantera song (lyrics wise). The meaning is powerful. I live my life by some parts of it.

General Comment:This is about hating the 'scene kids' who follow the crowd are a bunch of fakes.

It is about the anger felt when people become a parody of what you are and believe in when they dont even know what it is about. It is about having dedication in your beliefs when the fools are just following a trend.
