"Goddamn Electric" as written by and Vincent Paul/abbott Abbott....
There is a part of me that's always sixteen
I've found the secret of eternal youth
Some get high on life or money
But there's an escape
Drop out the race
To walk through world by one's self
You can't be protected
Your trust is in whisky, weed and Black Sabbath
It's goddamn electric

(chorus) Don't waste your time embrace it
And then you will know yourself
The change in you is goddamn electric

The weight of the world is lifted and parted
My eyes roll blind to sights that distract
Through tunnel vision and dope haired blinders
I'll cut a path and evoke my will
To walk through the world by ones self
You can't be protected
Your trust is in whisky, weed and Slayer
It's goddamn electric

(chorus) Don't fake your life inhale it
And then you'll know yourself
The change in you is goddamn electric
Don't waste my time, embrace it
And then you'll know yourself
The change that is goddamn electric will focus the minds eye

One hand on the bottle
The other a shaking fist
Rejuvenated, yet isolated, no pressure
From the outside, my sight is goddamn electric
And these eyes have seen a world
An entire goddamn electric system

(chorus)

General CommentThis song is about seeing through the illusion of our everyday lives, and soaring above teh bullshit taht pl think is so important. You can always count on your weed and your whiskey to get you by, and your Sabbath and Slayer to give you the drive to keep going. Like Dime himself, he quit school, and tehn went on to say it was the best thing he ever did. I fyou really want to live free, and be Goddamn Electric, you need to cut teh chord that grounds you, take down teh walls aroudn you and just fucking live. Th epart where he says "There is an escape, drop out of the race" It's about just not caring about what is expected of you anymore, and living life at your own pace, taking it in, an dliving, rather than just preparing for the future, and ultimately your death. Thats like living to die. Dime was all about living, loved life, and whiskey and weed, and his fans, and lived every day liek it was his last. The song has spiritual conetation as well is the lines concerning the "Mind's Eye" which is your spiritual eye, and it's abilty to see what your heart truly desires, follow that man and you'll live a good life like Dime, R.I.P. Brother, we love you, your my inspiration.

General CommentIn addition to what everybody's said, I think it's an affirmation of priorities. Instead of focusing on societal success you're allowed to care about what really fucking matters which is your music and your parties and your friends and whatever actually means something to you.

General Commentits more than about drugs/alcohol though, its about letting go of everything you know, coz in the end what does it all mean? It means nothing, coz tomorrow you could die, so quit being such a pussy, grab your balls and cock, and walk the way of pantera you little pansies....
