"Scorn" as written by and Jesper Claes Haakan/gelotte Stroemblad....
I parish and nobody will know
As my mouth remains still
My heart awaits me. filled with gravel
As the pain grows with each touch

Since I marked her out from my tower
Reality focused through forbidden lenses
She owns enough of preciousness
A penalty given by the source

But I still have no choice through
The hinderens freighten
A labyrinth closing at the edge of space

But they never allow
She's shut...for all beings but one
I give, I scorn, I threat

General CommentThe definition of scorn is an object considered despicable or unworthy.

I think this song is about some chick that he dumped, just broke up with or cant have so he hates her and rejects her completely.

    Actually the quote is:
"Now we're gonna talk about love, or about things we really want but cannot have. This one is called 'Scorn'"

Also, in the middle of the live version from Tokyo Showdown, they break into 'Raining Blood' by Slayer.

General CommentLike everyne has mentioned yes it is talking about love but lets break it down a little more:

I perish and nobody will know /--here he is saying, my guess is he is dying and due to the
As my mouth remains still /--wound she has caused in him. As he remembers the good
My heart awaits me, filled with gravel /--memories the wound grows bigger.
As the pain grows with each touch /

Since I marked her out from my tower /--Since he marked her out of his life, the momories of good
Reality focused through forbidden lenses /--events come back to hunt him as he remembers her through
She owns enough of preciousness /--present events. He kinda says I did this to myself in a way
A penalty given by the source /--"penalty given by the source" still keeps me wondering.

But I still have no choice through /--he has no choice but to remember, she was the best thing in
The hinderens frighten /--his life. a Labyrinth comes from Greek Mythology but in a
A labyrinth closing at the edge of space /--nut shell his traped in a maze of feelings with no way out.

But they never allow /--The feelings he has for her mean nothing without her.
She's shut... for all beings but one /--he tries to get her back but "She's shut..."
I give, I scorn, I threat /--"for all beings but one" she is done with him.
/--he give it his all for her, but nothing.

In my opinion this is what the song means to me but please tell me if their is a doubt. I incourage other opinions.
