You struck right out of the blue
And turned my head around
And what's a girl to do?
Oh-whoa, oh-oh-whoa
A simple twist of fate
Now there ain't no turning back (no)
Sunshine or the pouring rain
Oh-whoa, oh-oh-whoa

I'm not the gambling type out looking for a rush
The one thing I'll always do, I'll put my money on your love

Baby, you
You hung the moon and stars that night for me
And I knew right then and there
For you
I'd take a leap of faith 'cause I believe, oh yeah (ooh, ooh, ooh)
I believe (ooh, ooh, ooh), oh yeah (ooh, ooh, ooh)
(Ooh, ooh, ooh)

I don't know what you've been told
'Bout the things you're doing to me (things you're doing to me)
I can't lie, I was on cloud nine
But it just wasn't enough for me (hey, ooh)
Girl, you take me higher (high)
So high I can't come down
Ooh, I pray for you (hey)
Now I know what I can and can't live without
Sing it, baby

I'm not the gambling type out looking for a rush (looking for a rush, too, baby)
One thing I'll always do, I'll put my money on your love

'Cause, honey, you
You hung the moon and stars that night for me (hey, when did you know it, babe?)
And I knew right then and there (said I knew right then and there, too)
For you
I'd take a leap of faith 'cause I believe, oh yeah (oh yeah)
I believe, oh yeah (oh yeah)
I believe (I believe, oh, oh, oh-oh)

I knew right then and there
I knew right then and there
I knew right then and there
I knew right then and there (I knew)
I knew right then and there
I knew right then and there (oh baby)
I knew right then and there
I knew right then and there
I knew right then and there
I knew right then and there (I knew right then)
I knew right then and there
I knew right then and there
I knew right then and there (baby, baby, baby, baby)
I knew right then and there
I knew right then and there
I knew right then and there

    My Interpretation

I want to first say that this song means the world to me as it was the first song that my lovely wife and I dance to at our wedding. We both like Chicago music and listened to their music a lot. The meaning of the song to me is one of searching so long to find something and someone to believe in ....... and that this person is ends up saving you from who knows what and from a broken heart. In my case it is everything and it has meant the most to us and the words "I Believe" are inscribed inside of our wedding bands!!!! She did save me and she did come out of the blue in a chance encounter at a local night club was I was only 19 years old. We dated for 1 1/2 years were engaged for 1 1/2 years and have been married for 16+ years now. I think quite often about this song and our relationship ..... I know I still believe in her and I can only hope cause I love u for believes in me !!!!!!!!!

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
