"Suffer" as written by and Michael J. Mushok....
Suffer
Suffer
Suffer

The more you see the more you do
The television's feeding you
With what you want to hear
Anger and fear
Because you suffer

The hate you feel won't go away
You are programmed to feel this way
To live another day
Within a world that longs to suffer
(Suffer)

And then I come to find
And everything's okay
Seen this all before
But that was yesterday
Try to walk right through
The messes that I have made
Just let me enjoy
The life here that I live

I try to give this all to you
Can't take anymore to deal with this
It hurts inside
I know why I hide
Cause I suffer
(Suffer)

I tried to keep it all inside
It didn't leave me too much pride
I forced it all down inside
Forced myself to make me suffer
(Suffer)

And then I come to find
And everything's OK
Seen this all before
But that was yesterday
Try to make it through
The messes that I have made
So I can enjoy
The life here that I made

And then I come to find

And then I come to find
And everything's OK
Seen this all before
But that was yesterday
Try to walk right through
These messes that I have made
Just try to enjoy
This life here that I have

General CommentA world that loves to suffer... When I hear this song, it makes me think about how fucked up this world really is. So many people suffering. So many people off in their own world suffering and overcome with torment and/or hostility. The world's a messed up place.

People don't want help either, it just adds to the hostility. In the end, there's nothing you can do but Suffer with them.

General Commentwhen i listen to this song all i think is how stupid people are and how they always complicate things and how there is no way around not suffering with them b/c they will always pull you in even if you try to distance from them and exclude yourself. its never going to change unless people wake up and see for them selves of who they really are and what there doing.

    General CommentAcc. to Aaron Lewis:
"Wake up and look around you and see what the f**k is going on. The more you see, the more you do, the television's feeding you with what you want to hear, anger and fear, because we suffer. One of the many cycles in life that just continue going around in cycles unless they're broken."

General CommentThis is a really powerful song and think it has a deep meaning like all the other stiand songs. Its about how fake the world is and everyone around, how people become influenced by what they see on the television. It also shows how complex human emotion is and how people cause suffering to the people around. The whole song it like a journey through the bad times when your as low as you can get and about the times when life is worth living, but when it comes down to it life is a twisted game that some people are better at playing than others. The song explains how people find a way of escaping through reasoning with themselves and questioning their views upon life. "You're all programmed to feel this way to live Another day within a world that loves to suffer" this line truly sums up the world we live in today, how many people are the same and seem as if they are robots who live in a programmed world that one day will self destruct.
